Assisi railway station

Trains arrive at Assisi station in Santa Maria degli Angeli, below the hill town. Take a taxi directly to Piazza San Pietro 1, or Line C towards the historic centre and alight at Piazza Giovanni Paolo II.

The Line C stop is about 94 metres from San Pietro.

By local bus

Two stops close by

Piazza Giovanni Paolo II on Line C and Viale G. Marconi on Lines A–B are both a very short walk from San Pietro.

Historic-centre access

Assisi’s centre is a restricted-traffic zone. Guests of accommodation may normally enter for luggage loading and unloading for up to 60 minutes, but the vehicle plate and stay dates must be given to the accommodation.
